Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Somerset, NJ (Onsite, Monday–Friday)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 + Car Allowance

Position Overview: We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Senior Manager of Business Development to grow business across North America within the chemicals and fragrance ingredients industry. This role is ideal for a proactive business builder who can identify new opportunities, develop customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities across North America. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships within the fragrance industry. Expand market presence across the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Drive sales growth through prospecting, customer engagement, and strategic business development. Negotiate commercial agreements and identify opportunities for long-term growth. Take ownership of business development initiatives and actively pursue new customers and markets.

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within aroma chemicals or fragrance ingredients. Strong understanding of the North American market, including the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Established relationships within the fragrance industry are a plus. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivation, and a hands-on approach to developing business. High level of integrity, strong work ethic, and a commitment to building lasting customer relationships.
