To support power system studies in the renewable energy markets, the full-time remote Studies Engineer - Power Systems will perform various system studies, develop procedures for new study areas, and utilize Python scripting for process efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct system studies such as short circuit, arc flash, load flow, transient overvoltage, and harmonics using software like PSSE, ETAP, and PSCAD
Provide quality support to wind, solar, and BESS generator owners in a fast-paced environment
Identify business development opportunities and contribute to the advancement of renewable energy solutionsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of working experience, with at least 4 years directly related to power systems
Experience with programming in Python preferred
EIT status and ability to work toward PE certification preferred
Self-motivated with the ability to manage individual workload effectively
