Production Operator Location: Burgettstown, Pennsylvania Type: Contract Compensation: $15–$20/hour Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Job Summary The Production Operator supports the manufacturing of inorganic color pigments used worldwide in industries such as construction, paints & coatings, and plastics. This role is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, and ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Charge, blend, and package pigments according to blend, repackaging, and packaging instructions
- Perform continuous visual inspection of products throughout the manufacturing process
- Identify defects in finished products, including lumps, streaking, or inconsistencies
- Troubleshoot production equipment and perform minor repairs within skill level
- Prepare equipment for new blends by thoroughly cleaning to prevent cross-contamination
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Complete all required company training and documentation
- Qualifications0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual and sensory inspections
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
