We print everything from business cards to banners, help customers solve problems, create awesome designs, and occasionally explain why we cannot ship a package to Mars. (Yet.)We're looking for an energetic, dependable, detail-oriented team member who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that "I'll be there at 9:00" means 9:00... not 9:07.What You'll Actually Be DoingMaking customers smile. Deliver exceptional customer service, even when someone shows up with 47 Amazon returns. Shipping stuff everywhere. Pack, weigh, process, and ship packages. Yes, sometimes the boxes are bigger than you. Becoming a printing wizard. Help customers with printing, copying, binding, laminating, and creative projects. Graphic design experience is a HUGE plus! Solving problems. Customers don't always know what they need. Your job is to help them figure it out. Learning new skills. We offer a lot of services, and we'll train you to become an expert. You don't have to know everything on Day 1.Keeping things organized. Stock supplies, maintain a clean store, and keep things running smoothly. Using technology. Computers, printers, point-of-sale systems, and other equipment. If technology terrifies you, this might not be your dream job. Multitasking like a champion. Answering phones, helping customers, and keeping things moving without losing your mind—or your sense of humor. Being a great teammate. Jump in when help is needed, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your responsibilities. Who We're Looking ForYou might be our next favorite coworker if: You're dependable. Shipping something to Portland, Oregon instead of Portland, Maine is a pretty big deal. You're comfortable with computers. Microsoft Office skills are important. Adobe Creative Suite experience gets you bonus points! You're a team player. When the store gets busy, you jump in rather than suddenly developing an urgent need to reorganize the supply closet. You're a problem solver. You look for solutions instead of immediately saying, "I don't know."You have a high school diploma or GED.You can lift 45+ pounds when needed. You have retail or customer service experience (preferred).Most importantly: We can teach you how to ship a package. We can teach you how to operate a printer. But we can't teach you to care about people or take pride in your work. That's what we're really hiring for. The Schedule (Yes, You'll Have to Work) Approximately 30 hours per week Typically five shifts per week, approximately six hours each Weekend availability is REQUIRED, including Saturdays and occasional Sundays No late-night shifts! We close at 6:30 PM Monday–Friday and 5:00 PM on weekends. If you're looking for a Monday–Friday-only position, this probably isn't the one. We figured we'd tell you now rather than surprise you during the interview.
