Lead Inspector - Healthy Homes Atlanta Grants

Salary Range: $63,401.31- $84,640.75 General Description and Classification Standards The assignment will conduct inspections for the Healthy Homes Atlanta grants. The Lead Inspector is responsible for conducting lead risk assessments to ensure residential units are free from lead-based paint hazards and that any lead abatement activities have been properly completed in compliance with federal standards. This position plays a critical role in protecting public health by ensuring adherence to HUD and environmental safety regulations. The Lead Inspector operates with a high level of technical expertise and regulatory knowledge and is expected to maintain accurate documentation and reporting. Supervision Received Works under general supervision, receiving directions from program management or environmental leadership. Exercises independent judgement in conducting inspections and assessments in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
