The FT Liquor Store Team Member serves as a cashier and a stock handler. This is a 40 hour/week position and eligible for benefits. Position Summary:
The Full-time Liquor Store Team Member serves as a cashier, stock handler, and inventory.
Essential Functions:
- Performs cashier duties.
- Performs inventory management activities.
- Performs other Liquor Store duties.
- Performs other essential job duties.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of state and local liquor laws.
- Skill in operating a cash register and 10-key calculator.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to quickly and accurately make change.
- Ability to communicate with the public.
- Ability to attend seminars and classes as directed.
- Ability to work a variety of hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to learn and operate computer based inventory management system.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One-year retail cashier experience.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Preferred Qualifications:
Municipal Liquor Store experience.
Retail point of sale experience.
Retail Inventory Experience.
Forklift operator certified.

Work Schedule:
This is a 40 hour per week position. Hours of work will be 3 - 4 evenings (2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.), 2 - 3 mid-shifts (10:00/11:00 a.m. to 6:00/7:00 p.m.), and Sundays as needed. Availability on holidays is also required. Employees must be flexible to work based on business needs. This Position Description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
