The Production Supervisor—Day Shift reports to the Production Manager and oversees day-shift assembly operations for a team of 26–50 employees. This role offers a plant management pathway and cross-functional development opportunities, with no travel required. Automotive experience is valued.
Responsibilities:
Manage shift scheduling and daily staffing needs.
Oversee day-shift assembly production activities.
Supervise and support 26–50 employees.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
Monitor product quality and address quality concerns.
Track team and production performance.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two or more years of production supervision experience.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations management, or a related field.
Experience with lean manufacturing, workplace safety, and quality control.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of root cause analysis.
Strong team leadership and conflict resolution skills.
Automotive experience.
