Mule Wiring Design Release Engineer

What you'll be doing: The Mule Wiring Design & Release Engineer (DRE) is responsible to lead the design of wire harness and electrical distribution systems while working with supplier CAD and Engineering Support teams, global Engineering, Program Management, and Manufacturing teams as required to design and build mule and prototype vehicles.

Responsibilities include: Read and interpret vehicle wiring drawings and schematicsTranslate OEM wiring requirements into 2D wiring drawingsRoot cause electrical wiring issuesAssess and package harness designsProvide technical interface to the advanced wiring teamAttend design reviews/coordination meetings What you need for this position:

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in EE, ME, Comp Eng. or Computer Science or equivalent work experienceWire Harness Design, Routing and Packaging experienceExperience with OEM change process, including change request, change control, and approval processesGeneral computer skillsGeneral CAD skills (CATIA, Capital NX, Solidworks, and Mentor Graphics CAP-H) Outstanding communication and organization skillsPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceEDS component experienceTeamcenter experienceCATIA Routing experience
