We are seeking Family Nurse Practitioners for Urgent Care centers situated throughout New Jersey, particularly Morristown NJ. Two years' experience in urgent care is required due to acuity. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations and the counseling of patients towards compliance with treatment
- Order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests, and interpret results accordingly
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as incision and drainage, splinting, suturing, infection management and wound care
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and deliver continuity of care (including referral of patients to specialists and to other relevant patient care components, as medically necessary and appropriate)
- Regularly communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information
- Willing to travel to other sites as needed, willing to travel in inclement weather
- Willing to participate in On-Call

Requirements:
- License (unrestricted and in good standing) in the State of New Jersey
- Controlled dangerous substance registration with the State of New Jersey
- Registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration of the U.S. Department of JusticeDOT certified within first 6 months of employment
