A growing industrial manufacturer in Aurora is hiring multiple Production Associates to turn used tires into durable rubber traffic barriers. Pay is $21.00 per hour, Monday to Friday, with Day, 1st and 2nd shifts available. No experience is required, and forklift training and certification are provided. This is a stable full-time opportunity on the Processing and Manufacturing teams. As a Production Associate you will prepare equipment, handle materials and keep production moving as part of a team focused on sustainability and reuse. There is room to grow as the company expands, and you will get hands-on training from day one.
Production Associate Duties:
- Prepare and operate manufacturing equipment and production tooling
- Load, handle and move raw materials and finished products, including with a forklift
- Support machine setup, production runs and changeovers
- Monitor production, do basic visual inspections and report defects or equipment issues to your supervisor
Keep work areas clean and organized and follow all safety procedures, including PPESchedule (Monday-Friday, all shifts):Day Shift (Processing): 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.1st Shift (Manufacturing): 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.2nd Shift (Manufacturing): 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Production Associate Requirements:
- Ability to regularly lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty industrial plant
- Ability to follow written and verbal production instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Willingness to learn new equipment and processes (forklift training and certification provided)
