Participate in structured didactic and clinical training in cardiac catheterization procedures Assist with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care under RN and physician supervision Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and patient status in a high-acuity environment Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and radiation protection protocols Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and technologists as part of a multidisciplinary team Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for diagnostic and interventional procedures Respond to emergencies using ACLS principles and support rapid interventions Engage in continuous learning, competency assessments, and skills check-offs Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care Cardiac catheterization procedures Hemodynamic monitoring Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation Moderate sedation monitoring Infection control and sterile technique Radiation safety Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation IV therapy and medication administration Emergency response in high-acuity settings Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license in state of practice (or eligibility) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtained within defined timeframe) Previous telemetry or critical care experience preferred Participation in formal Cath Lab nurse training or residency program
