Job Description:
SCRIBE OPERATORMonday - Friday3:30 pm - 11:30 pm$18.50 per hourESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSPerform precision scribing on aerospace components to mark areas for chemical milling.
Read engineering drawings, templates, and work instructions to ensure accurate layout and required tolerances.
Measure and mark parts using calipers, rulers, and layout tools.
Inspect surfaces and coordinate with masking personnel to prepare parts for processing.
Check scribe lines for accuracy and report defects or inconsistencies.
Assist with staging and handling parts throughout production.
Maintain scribing tools and equipment and complete production records.
Follow quality and safety procedures, wear required protective equipment, and maintain a clean work area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required. Manufacturing, fabrication, or aerospace production experience preferred; 1-3 years desirable. Experience with precision layout, marking, or part preparation preferred. Ability to read engineering drawings and follow written work instructions. Basic knowledge of measuring tools and layout equipment. Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull objects weighing 85 pounds or more.#psmineralwells
