Physical Security Project Manager - Video Surveillance

Location: Hybrid (Need locals to DC, MD or VA or DE)

Duration: 12+ MonthsThis is a backfill position. For this initiative, the ideal Project Manager should have a strong background in physical security technology, systems integration, and video management systems (VMS), with the ability to lead complex deployments involving AI-enabled video analytics onboard trains. This individual will be responsible for coordinating across security, technology, operations, vendors, and rail stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of video-on-train initiatives.

Key qualifications include: Experience managing physical security, CCTV, VMS, and systems integration projects. Understanding of AI-driven video analytics, alerting workflows, and operational use cases. Familiarity with Security Operations Center (SOC) environments and how operators consume, assess, and respond to alerts. Ability to translate operational security requirements into technical solutions and project deliverables. Strong vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination skills. Experience working in transportation, public safety, critical infrastructure, or similarly regulated environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of onboard technology deployments, networking, data transmission, and system reliability considerations is a plus. The successful candidate should be equally comfortable discussing technical integration details with engineers and vendors while also driving schedules, budgets, risks, and executive communications to ensure the program delivers measurable security and operational value.
