We are looking for a Grant Analyst to join a nonprofit organization in San Antonio, Texas on a Long-term Contract basis. This position will focus on strengthening donor and stakeholder engagement through thoughtful communication, organized project support, and well-executed fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong balance of relationship management, operational coordination, and reporting skills to help advance development goals and mission-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate positive relationships with donors by overseeing outreach efforts, follow-up communication, renewal touchpoints, and recognition activities.
Arrange and support donor-facing interactions such as meetings, site visits, and other engagement experiences that deepen community connection.
Contribute to the delivery of fundraising campaigns, special events, and related initiatives by coordinating logistics and keeping activities on schedule.
Track project milestones, organize deliverables, and work closely with staff, volunteers, vendors, and external partners to maintain momentum across development efforts.
Administer gift records, acknowledgment processes, and donor-related documentation to support accurate and timely stewardship.
Review engagement results and campaign outcomes, then share practical suggestions to improve participation and donor retention.
Create summaries, correspondence, and updates for donors, leadership teams, and other stakeholders to keep communication clear and consistent.
Collect impact information, stories, and supporting content that can be used in fundraising materials and donor communications.
Enhance internal development operations by refining workflows, improving tracking methods, and supporting more efficient coordination practices.
