CHRISTUS Health is hiring: PA, Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery in Beaumont

Job Summary: We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing Neurosurgery team in Beaumont, TX. This position offers a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and hospital consult responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have prior surgical, neurosurgical, or inpatient experience. Key Responsibilities: Conduct outpatient clinic visits, including new patient evaluations and follow-up appointments Perform post-operative patient management and follow-up care Round on hospitalized neurosurgical patients Evaluate and manage inpatient consults Order and interpret diagnostic studies, labs, and imaging Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR

Qualifications: Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant NCCPA certification Previous neurosurgery, surgery, orthopedic, spine, or inpatient experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team Schedule & Compensation Primarily Monday–Friday schedule Typical clinic hours approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match

Requirements: Must be licensed the in state of TX or be eligible to be licensed
