APPLY NOWWe’re hiring a Certified Medical Coder at IGEA Brain, Spine, Pain & Orthopedics in Totowa, NJ!We’re looking for someone who knows their way around coding and billing, takes pride in getting the details right, and works well with a busy healthcare team. CPC certification is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing medical records and charges for accurate coding
- Preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies
- Ensuring coding meets payer requirements and applicable regulations
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Communicating with providers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve coding and billing questions
Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding, medical terminology, and medical office software. Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus.
