American Traveler is hiring a night shift ICU RN with a KY or compact license for a high-acuity medical/surgical ICU setting. Details21-bed medical/surgical ICU serving high acuity medical ICU patients Patient population includes cardiac interventions, SARS, cardiogenic shock, rotoprone therapy, post-partum critical care, and complex medical/cardiac ICU patients Third shift schedule: 3x12s, 7p-7aWeekends and holidays as needed
Requirements:- Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation requiredADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
- No prior nursing experience required, though previous experience is preferred
- Last 4 digits of SSN and month/day of DOB required for consideration
Additional Information:- Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for ICU patients
- Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge processes with patient and family-centered education
- Delegate and oversee care activities performed by other team members
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and core measures
- Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility, though local candidates are accepted at a lower rate
