This position works the line spraying furniture with a variety of finishes: Stain, Lacquer, and Sealer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line
- Use spray guns to coat furniture frames, make adjustments to liquid product according needs.
- Perform line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner
- Complete pre and post cleaning production run
- Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production
- Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all requiredPPR in designated areas, confined, space safety, safe chemical handling, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Minimum two (2) years experience in spraying in a factory environment, preferred
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
- Ability to read work instructions
Physical Requirements:- Standing, walking, bending for an 8-hour shift
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects
- Move products from upholstery locations to finished products
