Job Description: WaterJet Saw Operator
Pay: $16.00–$17.00/hour
Shifts: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available
Job Description:
Client is seeking dependable WaterJet Saw Operators to operate and monitor waterjet cutting equipment used to cut foam and other materials to precise specifications. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous machine operation experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate waterjet saw equipment to cut foam and materials according to work orders and specifications.
Set up and adjust machinery for different cutting requirements.
Read work orders, measurements, and production instructions.
Load, position, and secure materials properly for cutting.
Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed.
Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
Identify defects or equipment issues and notify supervisors when necessary.
Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
Safely handle materials and finished products throughout the production process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Work with the production team to meet daily production and quality goals.
Ideal Candidate:
Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Previous saw, CNC, waterjet, or production equipment experience is a plus.
Good measurement and attention-to-detail skills.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning new equipment.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks.
Willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
