Work Environment: This position is primarily an onsite role that requires traveling to patients' homes in Arlington, Virginia. Working in home care presents unique challenges and rewards, as you will be treating patients in their familiar environments. You will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, choosing hours that work best for you, while maintaining a Monday to Friday workweek.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, identifying pain points and mobility limitations. Develop and implement customized treatment plans utilizing diverse techniques, including exercises, stretching, and hands-on manual therapy. Utilize specialized equipment as necessary to facilitate pain relief and restore patient mobility. Monitor and document each patient's treatment progress, adjusting plans and therapeutic goals as needed. Educate patients and their caregivers on self-care practices, assistive devices, and engagement in their recovery processes. Stay current with the latest industry practices through continued professional development, including workshops and professional networking. Patient Population / Client FocusAs a Physical Therapist at Apex Physical Therapy, you will serve a diverse patient population, ranging from children to elderly adults, with various conditions including post-operative recovery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Your expertise will provide meaningful support to individuals seeking to regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Valid State License in Physical Therapy. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in word processing and basic computer usage. Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle a variety of patient needs effectively.

Preferred Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for home care experience. Familiarity with assistive devices and mobility aids. Experience in developing individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.

Compensation and Benefits: This full-time Physical Therapist position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
