Job Description:
Kansas - Onsite interviews Oct 15th & 16th, call Kim 435-691-9100. We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fitting tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications. If you have a strong background in welding, fitting, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fitting tasks using various techniques and tools- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings- Fabricate and assemble metal components accurately- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments- Operate welding equipment such as soldering irons, rigging equipment- Inspect welded structures to ensure they meet quality standards- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently- Operate crane and other heavy machinery as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role- Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding- Familiarity with various hand tools and measuring instruments- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings- Strong attention to detail and precision in work- Knowledge of safety procedures when operating welding equipment- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Certification in welding is a plus, we are willing to train you Joining our team as a Welder/Fitter offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects in a dynamic environment.
