Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical Job Description: - Join a dynamic team in the Medical/Surgical unit, where your expertise is valued and your contributions make a real difference. - Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Flexibility required; Block Scheduling is not guaranteed) - Required to float between units, enhancing your skills and experiences. - Patient Demographics: Adults with diverse needs, including post-surgical care. - Common Patient Diagnoses: - Abdominal pain - Cholelithiasis - Osteoarthritis - Fractures - Back pain - Morbid obesity (bariatric surgery) - Specialty Equipment Used: - IV pumps - N/G tubes - Feeding tubes - Scrub Color: Navy Blue Submission Requirements: - Must be a local candidate (less than 75 miles from the facility). - Up-to-date resume showcasing 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing and documents of travel experience. - Skills Checklist that matches the required specialty. - Valid driver’s license with an address matching your demographics. - Current AHA BLS certification. - NURSYS Report for licenses verification with an ACTIVE NY License & all active RN licenses. - Request for Time Off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission. - Experience with EMR: EPIC required.
