Role:
Director of Medical Communications leading strategy and execution for Definium’s psychiatry portfolio, including psychedelic-based therapeutics in late-stage clinical development.
Responsibilitiesdevelop integrated communication strategies
create and maintain scientific narratives, educational materials, and training programs
serve as backup medical reviewer ensuring scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance
manage external vendors and agencies for content development and training support
Requirementsadvanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD)
7+ years in Medical Affairs, medical communications, or related healthcare industry
experience in scientific narrative development, medical review processes, and vendor management
High-Valuepsychiatry, neuroscience, CNS
late-stage clinical development, prelaunch, or product launch experience
familiarity with Veeva Vault or medical content platforms
approximately 15-20% travel
