Registered Nurse - SAFE Program

Per Diem Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) Registered NurseUnited Health Services is seeking a Per Diem Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. In this specialized role, the SAFE RN delivers comprehensive medical-forensic services, conducts forensic examinations, collects and preserves evidence, administers prophylactic medications, and provides advocacy and support throughout the patient's care experience. Working in accordance with New York State Department of Health guidelines, the SAFE RN collaborates with physicians, victim advocates, law enforcement, and community partners to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about patient advocacy, crisis intervention, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families while serving as a critical resource within the community. Work Locations: UHS Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY; UHS Binghamton General Hospital, Binghamton, NYThere is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
