Perform focused histories, physical examinations, and emergency assessments. Order and interpret diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, and imaging as appropriate. Develop and implement treatment plans for emergency department patients. Provide care for a range of medical complaints, injuries, and emergency presentations. Collaborate with emergency medicine physicians, fellow NPs and PAs, and nursing teams. Identify patients requiring escalation of care, specialty consultation, or hospital admission. Coordinate safe discharge planning, patient education, and follow-up recommendations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Expanse electronic medical record.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Active, unrestricted Florida NP or PA license.
  • Appropriate national certification for the NP or PA role.
  • One to two years of Emergency Medicine experience requested.
  • Recent clinical experience evaluating and managing emergency department patients.
  • Ability to work 10–12-hour clinical shifts.
  • Comfort practicing in a collaborative emergency department environment.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
