Certified Medical Assistant The Medical Assistant (MA) is key in assisting the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures. They perform patient services as requested which may include but is not limited to phlebotomy, obtaining EKG's, collecting and processing specimens, applying bandages/splints as well as perform patient vital signs and other care as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain sterilization processes for all equipment being used while adhering to company policies and protocols
  • Conduct patient triage to assess and prioritize medical needs.
  • Gather relevant information to assist healthcare providers in delivering optimal care.
  • Support healthcare providers during in-house procedures such as EKG and PFT.Ensure a sterile and organized environment for medical examinations.
  • Guide patients through the process of Primary Care Physician (PCP) conversions.
  • Provide information, answer queries, and facilitate a smooth transition.
  • Perform sterilization and autoclaving of medical instruments and equipment.
  • Maintain adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Track inventory levels of medical supplies.
  • Place orders and maintain sufficient stock to support daily operations.
  • Document the usage of medical items and supplies accurately.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records for reference.
  • Update logbooks regularly to reflect accurate information on supplies, procedures, and equipment usage.
  • Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant or Associate degree in Medical AssistantCPR Certification (Urgent Care)
  • Internship experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Familiarity with eCW is preferred.$16.00-$18.00 an hour
