Medicus is collaborating with a reputable hospital in Houston, Texas, with an opening for a Blood Bank Pathologist to provide locum tenens coverage.
Opening Overview: Level I Trauma
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p + overnight beeper call
24-hour weekend beeper call shifts 400-bed hospital
Duties:- Apheresis, red blood cell exchange, transfusion reaction review, coagulation and interpretation testing, and hemoglobin electrophoresis review
- Must be comfortable teaching residents
- Support Staff: Residents, AP/CP pathologists, lab supervisor, lab manager, dedicated quality team, etc.
