We're looking for a Storyteller who will help shape the narrative of the company as we build it.
This role is equal parts social media lead and narrative operator. You'll be responsible for running and growing our channels, and, you'll work closely with the founders and team to identify the stories worth telling, develop them into ongoing narratives, and figure out how we tell them over time.
We're building around an identity for a new generation of people earning, building, and creating online. You'll help us bring that story to life while documenting the people behind UGLYCASH and what it actually looks like to build the company.
We want someone who can recognize a story while it's happening and turn it into something people want to follow.
About Us:
UGLYCASH is built for a generation that earns differently.
The way people work and make money has fundamentally changed. People build businesses online, freelance across borders, create content, sell products, work remotely, and build careers that traditional financial institutions were never designed to understand or serve.
We believe financial opportunity should evolve with the people creating it.
UGLYCASH exists to build financial services for this new generation of earners — especially those earning online and across borders who have historically had less access to stable currency, credit, and the financial tools they need to grow.
We want to do things differently: to replace fine print with candid transparency and brutal honesty, discrimination with global financial inclusion, and cold, distant financial institutions with a human connection to the people we serve.
Our name is a statement of that difference. We don't build trust because of our name. We build trust through authenticity, honesty, and human connection.
But the mission goes deeper. We believe access to stable currency and financial opportunity is a human right. The internet has opened up entirely new ways for people around the world to earn — now the financial system needs to catch up.
UGLYCASH is being built for the people building their lives and careers on the internet.
