GIS Solutions Consultant Avineon, Inc. | Remote (U.S.) | Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe're looking for a GIS Solutions Consultant to deliver live geospatial solutions directly to our clients. In this client-facing role, you'll administer enterprise GIS databases, build and automate geoprocessing workflows, and translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for non-technical stakeholders. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, teaching, and solving real-world problems with Esri technology.
What You'll Do:
Serve in a client services capacity, providing live geospatial solutions and support to clients Clearly translate and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience administering Esri Enterprise Databases, including key concepts:
- Versioning (Traditional and Branch)
- Views
- ReplicasReconcile/Post
- CompressExperience with SQL Server, including:
- Proficiency with SQL Server Management StudioSQL Server Agent
- AutomationExtensive geoprocessing knowledge
- Scripting experience with Python, Arcpy, and JavaScriptExtensive knowledge of ArcGIS ProExperience with ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Enterprise licensing and administration
- Experience supporting local government GIS utilization
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Attribute Rules and Arcade within ArcGIS ProArcGIS Enterprise/ArcGIS Server experience, including Map and Feature Services
- Customizing and developing ArcGIS Pro add-ins
- Knowledge of Next Generation 911 (NG911)
- Experience working remotely
- Esri certifications (e.g., ArcGIS Pro Professional, ArcGIS Pro Associate)
- Soft SkillsStrong technical troubleshooting ability

- Experience training or mentoring others
