Job Title Architect and evolve the core audio and video communication infrastructure that powers our Connected Care ecosystem. Design and operate highly available SIP routing platforms supporting real-time communications at scale. Scale and optimize media servers, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and signaling environments to ensure exceptional reliability and performance. Build intelligent, low-latency call routing solutions that deliver seamless communication experiences. Partner with software engineering teams to integrate voice and video capabilities into modern applications and services. Investigate and resolve complex real-time communication challenges, including media quality issues, packet loss, latency, and network performance. Drive technical strategy and establish engineering best practices for voice and video infrastructure. Mentor engineers across the organization and serve as a subject matter expert in telecom and real-time communications technologies.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting real-time voice and video communication systems. Strong hands-on expertise with SIP and related telecommunications protocols. Proven experience building, operating, and maintaining VoIP platforms in production environments. Production-level experience with Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, or similar SIP/media routing platforms. Experience developing backend services using. NET or Node.js/TypeScript. Strong understanding of networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot signaling, media delivery, routing, and performance-related issues. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional engineering teams.
