Akkodis is seeking a Engineering Technician for a 6+ Contract position with a client located in Broomfield, CO
Pay Range:
$35/hr - $40/hr (The rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Position Responsibilities Independently performs electrical and mechanical assembly of prototype systems and processes. Assists senior technicians, engineers, and scientists in the execution of project milestones and deliverables. Assists in documentation of existing systems and processes. Responsible for general lab maintenance and organization, engages in 5S events. Practical, hands-on experience working with vacuum systems, particularly experience configuring laboratory test systems using CF, KF, NPT, and VCR fittings for vacuum and gas-handling setups. Experience with wiring assemblies and creating test cables Experience with chilled water systems and liquefied gas systems Experience with equipment such as multimeters, signal generator, oscilloscopes, Lakeshores (temperature measurement), vacuum pumps, and vacuum gauges Experience working with troubleshooting problems or performing routine maintenance on equipment, such as compressors, scroll vacuum pumps, and turbomolecular vacuum pumps Experience with chilled water systems and liquefied gas systems. Additional nice-to-haves: Experience working in an R&D setting Experience writing and developing SOP documentation.
