Auto Salesperson Job Duties: Must stay up to date on all OEM training and certification. Develop an in-depth understanding of current automotive technologies and be able to communicate that to potential customers by explaining the characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking test drives; explaining warranties and services. Assist in setting up the sales lot or showroom floor for promotions and displaying new models. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
