Description: Assistant Tennis Professional/Experience teaching pickleball is a plus. Odessa Country Club | Full-TimeOdessa Country Club, one of West Texas’s premier private clubs with approximately 1,100 members, is seeking an energetic and experienced Assistant Tennis/Pickleball Professional to join our Racquet Sports team. The ideal candidate will have strong teaching, programming, and leadership skills and a passion for helping grow and strengthen our adult and junior tennis and pickleball programs. Our Facilities\* 2 climate-controlled indoor tennis courts \* 6 outdoor tennis courts \* 10 outdoor pickleball courts Key Responsibilities\* Provide private, semi-private, and group tennis and pickleball instruction. \* Develop and grow adult and junior tennis and pickleball programs. \* Lead junior camps and 10-and-under programming. \* Conduct clinics, leagues, socials, tournaments, interclub competitions, cardio tennis, and other member programs. \* Create new programming that increases member participation. \* Assist with program promotion, Pro Shop operations, racquet stringing, and facility operations. \* Provide outstanding service to members and guests. \* Assist the Director of Racquet Sports and assume leadership responsibilities when the Director is absent. \* Be available for some evenings, weekends, and major holiday events. \* Work toward RSPA certification and continued professional development. Compensation & Benefits\* Base Salary: $40,000–$45,000 annually \* 70% of revenue generated from private/semi-private lessons and eligible programs conducted by the Assistant Professional \* Private Lesson Rate: $80 \* Clinic Rates: $37.50/hour and $45/1.5 hours \* Medical and dental insurance available after 60 days \* 401(k) eligibility \* Meals provided while on duty \* Annual RSPA membership paid by the Club \* Up to $1,500 annually toward continuing education and the USPTA Texas Conference
