Search Associate Good Insight is seeking a Search Associate to join our team. This is a full-time, exempt employee position with a salary of $60,000. The role is remote, based in the Greater DC Region, and reports to the Director of Search. Applications should be submitted by September 30 for best consideration. About Good Insight: Founded in 2013, Good Insight is a retained executive search firm serving the social sector. Our mission is to help good causes connect to great leaders by planning leadership transitions, recruiting exceptionally talented executives, and strengthening organizational leadership. We envision a new approach to executive search that centers equitable hiring practices and dignity for candidates participating in the process. Most of our clients are small to mid-size nonprofits working across a wide range of issue areas, as well as the associations and funders that support them. We're guided by the belief that communities have the best answers to the challenges they face. As a result, Good Insight talent brings personal and professional experiences that advance community-driven solutions. The Search Associate plays an active role in our efforts to build an antiracist consulting practice. They will join a group of people forming a shared philosophical commitment to antiracism, while also understanding the opportunities and limitations of executive search to shift the nonprofit sector from predominantly white workplaces. We see an opportunity for leadership transitions to become a tool for racial, economic, and social justice. Good Insight is a virtual organization headquartered in Washington, DC with a team of 6 working remotely from their home offices. Team members generally work 9 to 5, though client demands mean that our team sometimes works outside of normal business hours (i.e., evenings and weekends), which we offset with flexible daytime hours. Some travel is required to support client engagements or professional development (5-10%). We prefer someone based in the greater DC region to assist with occasional in-person client demands. Good Insight is building a team of people who want to use their work to make the world a better place. We trust our team to be self-starters and semi-autonomous. We do not believe in "work hard, play hard." We want employees to love their work and have a rewarding life outside the office. We honor time and talent employees contribute to Good Insight, but expect work-life boundaries. We believe that our collective liberation requires rest and recuperation, and we are trying to model that behavior as a firm.
