Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Design and build collaborative ArcGIS Online and portal apps, maps and dashboards for new and ongoing projects
- Deliver complex location analyses independently, from data pull to client-ready product
- Contribute to heavy analyses with senior analysts, including suitability and site selection modeling
- Clean and aggregate data from multiple sources, including Salesforce, CoStar, and labor data, so it is ready for visualization
- Check data sources, assumptions and results before work goes to review
- Write, publish and maintain custom scripts, widgets and geoprocessing tools as needed
- Support our ArcGIS Online and Portal user base as an administrator
- Present your findings and train KBC Advisors team members on what you did, how you did it and how to use the apps you built
- Turn analysis into plain recommendations for brokers and clients, write clear client updates and join client calls
- Manage several projects at once and flag any at-risk due date early
Preferred Qualifications:- Suitability modeling and site selection modeling
- Spatial analysis such as center of gravity and gap analysis
- Excel models for comparisons and indexing, such as labor comparisons
- Transportation cost modeling
- Esri Business Analyst for business location pulls
- Python, Arcade, Model
- Builder, ArcGIS Notebooks or other GIS automation for repeatable workflows
- Experience building or supporting automated data pipelines, such as with ArcGIS Data Pipelines, Power Automate or Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, ArcGIS Server or ArcGIS Online administration
- Familiarity with SQL and PostgreSQL, including querying and managing spatial data
- A portfolio or examples of geospatial analysis and data visualization
Education and Experience:- Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in GIS, location intelligence or geospatial analytics
- A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience. A degree in GIS, geography, urban planning, economics or data analytics is preferred
- Strong, hands-on experience with the Esri suite: ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder and Dashboards
- Experience building client-ready maps, dashboards and apps
- Experience aggregating data from multiple sources and cleaning it before it reaches a deliverable
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
CompensationThe expected annual base salary for this position is $76,000 - $98,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and geographic location.
This role may also be eligible for bonuses, or other incentive compensation, as well as a benefits package including health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off, subject to eligibility requirements.
