Job Duties:
HelpAssembles, tests, operates, and maintains experimental energy, water system and other equipment, machinery, and tools in field environments.
Provide technical support and assistance for complex studies, working independently with limited technical direction from senior staff.
Coordinates closely with engineers, scientists, technicians, and contractors to resolve routine operational issues and support overall mission execution.
Maintains, repairs, and operates heavy equipment and conducts maintenance as needed. Tows loads up to 20,000 lbs.
Assists in the supply management, requisition and acquisition of various equipment, and items necessary for the operation and maintenance of Contingency Basing Integration Training and Evaluation Center (CBITEC).Operates and utilizes heavy equipment (including excavators, bulldozers, and telehandlers) to construct field test sites, deploy instrumentation, and manage field site logistics.
