We are a Behavioral Health Provider currently seeking Registered Nurses for a contract position. A contractor role allows you to work as little or as much as you choose, managing your own schedule, while providing you with full autonomy.
Requirements:
RN Licensure in the state of Ohio. All applicants must submit/pass background check prior to hire. Individual NPI Number and Medicaid Provider Number will be required to start work. We help provide instructions on how to apply.
Primary Duties:
Completes health appraisal on clients upon admission to agency and regularly throughout their course of care - Aids nurse practitioners and physicians as necessary - Evaluate, observe, and assess client's physical conditions - Assists clients with treatment plans prescribed by nurse practitioner and/or physician - Assists in administering and monitoring medications - Monitors client vitals - Educates clients on prescribed medication, physical health, nutrition, and self-care - Coordinates care and services with pharmacy, other physicians or referring agencies on behalf of client - Responds quickly to complete nurse practitioner and physician orders - Communicates prescribed services and status to client (and client family as appropriate) in a timely fashion - Participates in client care team meetings - Maintains accurate and timely records of medications prescribed - Completes release forms or client medical paperwork as requested - Assists with medication refills on behalf of nurse practitioners or physicians - Completes all client documentation accurately and in a timely fashion Job Type: Contract Salary: From $37.00 per hour Medical specialties: Psychiatry Physical setting: Clinic License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) RN license (Required)
