To support a high-impact silicon development team, the full-time Principal CAD Engineer will develop process development kit elements, configure EDA tools, and support design teams while working onsite in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
Key responsibilities:
Develop process development kit elements, including DRC, LVS, and Extraction rule decks
Setup and configure EDA tools for design teams and support circuit and layout designers
Administer and support user accounts on Linux Operating Systems and assist in debugging design tasksRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree with 15 years of experience or MS with 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field
10+ years in a design and/or design automation field
Experience with Physical Verification Tools (DRC/LVS/Extraction tools)
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Cadence Skill, Perl, Python, or C
Experience supporting Linux operating systems and working with CMOS silicon processes
