Registered Nurse RN

The Senior Operating Room Registered Nurse provides direct perioperative care while coordinating staff assignments, surgical schedules, and daily OR workflow. Working in a full-service acute care hospital, this role leads and supports nursing personnel, collaborates with surgeons and anesthesia, monitors patient status, and upholds safety, infection control, and professional nursing standards to ensure efficient, high-quality surgical care. Provide direct perioperative nursing care using the nursing process for surgical patients. Coordinate operating room schedules, staff assignments, and daily workflow. Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond quickly to clinical changes. Lead and guide OR nursing staff while maintaining professional practice standards. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists for safe procedures. Ensure adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and privacy requirements.
