Fire Protection Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Review drawing packages for compliance with fire protection and life safety design standards Collaborate with design teams and stakeholders to define project scope and ensure adherence to local codes and insurance requirements Assist in resolving design issues during construction and support factory and site acceptance testingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field Basic experience with fire protection, fire alarm, and life safety systems Familiarity with engineering drawings and construction documents Understanding of fire suppression and detection systems Desire to pursue industry certifications such as NICET or CFPS is preferred
