$22.00/hrShift: 1stJob Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating CNC milling machines to produce cast aluminum components according to specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience machining aluminum castings, performing quality inspections, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to machine cast aluminum parts.
Load and unload materials, fixtures, and finished components.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
Verify dimensions using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Monitor machine performance and make tool offset adjustments as needed.
Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and operational.
Identify and report quality issues, tooling concerns, or machine malfunctions.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
Previous CNC milling machine operating experience preferred.
Experience machining cast aluminum components is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of CNC programs, tooling, and machine offsets.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
