About the Role:
Boost Payment Solutions is engaging a Senior Product Manager on a contract-to-hire basis to lead a comprehensive assessment of our Salesforce ecosystem and deliver a go-forward plan to Salesforce management. Salesforce sits at the center of how Boost manages sales, supplier and buyer onboarding, partner relationships, and customer support. This engagement directly supports revenue growth, partner enablement, and the operational efficiency our AP/AR customers expect from us. The initial 4-month contract is scoped specifically to the assessment and planning phase described below. It gives Boost the opportunity to evaluate fit and impact on a well-defined deliverable, and gives you the opportunity to evaluate the environment, before either party commits to a permanent role. Strong performance and a well-received go-forward plan are expected to lead to an offer of full-time employment. Contract Term (Months 1–4): Landscape Assessment & Go-Forward PlanThe deliverable for this contract period is a full assessment of Boost's Salesforce environment and a formal, presented plan to management and executive stakeholders. This includes: Full environment audit: inventory of orgs, objects, custom fields, automations (Flow/Process Builder/Apex), integrations, and installed packages/AppExchange tools currently in use Process mapping: how Salesforce is actually used today across Sales, Technology, Client Management, Onboarding, Account Management,, and Partnerships, including where workflows diverge from how the system was originally designed Data quality and governance review: record ownership, permission/security model, duplicate/data integrity issues, and compliance considerations given Boost's regulated fintech environment Technical debt and risk assessment: identify fragile automations, unsupported customizations, integration gaps, and scalability concerns Stakeholder interviews: structured conversations with team leads and frontline users to surface pain points, workarounds, and unmet needs Gap analysis against business priorities: where the current system helps or hinders goals like supplier/buyer onboarding speed, deal cycle velocity, and partner tracking Go-forward roadmap and governance plan — a prioritized, phased plan (with rough sequencing and resourcing implications) presented formally to management, covering recommended architecture changes, process fixes, quick wins vs. longer-term investments, and an ongoing governance model to prevent future drift Expect regular check-ins with leadership throughout the contract rather than a single reveal at the end. A formal written plan and executive readout are due by the end of month four, and will serve as the primary basis for a conversion decision. If Converted: Ongoing Ownership Should the engagement convert to full-time employment, the role expands to owning execution of the approved plan and continued platform evolution: Own the Salesforce product roadmap, balancing requests from Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Partnerships against technical feasibility and business priority Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specs Manage the backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT, and release communication Partner with Salesforce admins/developers to design scalable solutions across relevant environments (e.g. Sales Cloud) and custom objects supporting Boost's payment and onboarding workflows Ensure Salesforce integrates cleanly with adjacent systems —payment processing platforms, marketing automation, and BI/data warehouse tools Own governance long-term: data integrity, the permissions/security model, and change management discipline Run enablement and training for Sales, CS, and Implementation teams Report roadmap status and platform health to leadership on a regular cadence
What We're Looking For:- 6+ years of product management experience, with 4+ years focused specifically on Salesforce (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud) in a senior or lead capacity
- Demonstrated experience conducting a Salesforce landscape/technical assessment and presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders — this is a core requirement, not a nice-to-have
- Comfortable operating independently in a fixed-scope, deadline-driven contract engagement with a defined executive deliverable
- Strong grasp of Salesforce architecture and declarative tooling (Flow, objects/fields, approval processes, permission sets); enough technical depth to evaluate developer work and flag risk
- Experience with B2B sales and onboarding motions, ideally in fintech, payments, or enterprise SaaSTrack record of building governance frameworks that prevent CRM sprawl and technical debt
- Experience with Salesforce integrations to ERP, data warehouses, or marketing platforms
- Sound judgment around data security and access controls, particularly relevant given Boost's banking and payment processor relationships
- Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Product Owner certification strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication — able to run an executive readout as comfortably as a sprint planning session

Contract length: 4 months, with clear performance milestones tied to the deliverable above
Conversion: Full-time offer contingent on quality of the assessment/plan, stakeholder feedback, and mutual interest in continuing
