Expected Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Route Driver with FreshDirect, youll play a key role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately making a difference every day in the New York area.
Operate Company Vehicles Safely: Drive a company vehicle responsibly, following all local, state, and federal driving regulations as well as company policies.
Deliver Packages Efficiently and On Time: Load and unload packages with care, ensuring prompt and accurate deliveries to customers.
Keep Vehicles Clean and Ready: Keep the delivery van clean, organized, and fueled to support uninterrupted operations.
Drive-in All-Weather Conditions: Safely operate vehicles and complete routes in various weather conditions.
Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Always represent FreshDirect with professionalism and a positive attitude. Deliver outstanding service, ensuring customer satisfaction even in demanding situations.
What Were Looking For 2 years of recent commercial truck driving experience.
Valid NY drivers license (non-CDL). Commercial Drivers License (CDL) isnot required.
Safe driving record: = 3 points, = 1 accident, minimal suspensions.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Flexible working weekends, holidays, mornings, or evenings.
Comfortable using smartphones for GPS, routing & communication.
Strong commitment to Safety, Reliability, and Customer Satisfaction.
