Certified Athletic Trainer

Job Description: Room patients and obtain focused musculoskeletal histories. Assist the physician with musculoskeletal examinations and clinical assessments. Assist with ultrasound-guided injections, procedures, and other in-office treatments. Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation, home exercises, activity modifications, and injury prevention. Apply braces, splints, taping, and other durable medical equipment (DME) as appropriate. Assist with rehabilitation activities and therapeutic exercise instruction. Coordinate imaging, physical therapy, referrals, and follow-up care. Support patient flow, room turnover, and daily clinic operations. Assist with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and clinical administrative tasks. Collaborate with the physician and clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient workflows. Support community outreach, sports coverage, and injury prevention programs as needed.

Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training. Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) credential required. New York State Athletic Trainer license required, or eligibility for NYS licensure. Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries, clinical examination, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise.
