Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pmEmployers Options is seeking an Entry-Level Equipment Maintenance Worker to join a growing and dynamic team! The Entry-Level Equipment Maintenance Worker is responsible for supporting the day-to-day rental operations by ensuring equipment is inspected, cleaned, and prepared for customer use. This role involves checking equipment in and out, evaluating returned units for fuel levels, operating hours, and overall condition, and preparing equipment to be rental-ready. The position also assists technicians with tools and materials, stages equipment for deliveries, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and work environment.
Job Description:- Handle pre- and post-rental equipment (hours, fuel, damage, safety decals)
- Assist with minor equipment repairs (oil, grease, fluids, electrical, AC, plumbing)
- Help with preventative maintenance and fleet upkeep
- Clean equipment and handle rental-ready staging
- Manage oil changes, lubrication, tire replacements, hose and battery repairs for equipment
- Operate forklifts and boom lifts
- Document work orders and verify delivery tickets
- Organize the yard and work areas
Position Requirements:- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
- Forklift certification preferred (can be trained on site)
- Boom lift certification a plus
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance independently
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
