Commercial Loan Booking Analyst
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Commercial Loan Booking Analyst for a consulting opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities: Review commercial loan documentation packages for completeness and accuracy.
Validate AI-generated loan boarding and closing data against source loan documents.
Ensure all required documentation is present for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans.
Verify key loan information including borrower details, rates, terms, amortization schedules, loan types, and documentation requirements.
Identify missing documents, data discrepancies, and exceptions within loan packages.
Review AI-generated loan booking checklists and confirm accuracy of extracted information.
Partner with loan closers and operations teams to resolve documentation gaps and data issues.
Document findings and provide feedback to improve AI-driven loan booking and closing processes.
Support quality assurance testing and validation efforts for loan operations automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Commercial Loan Operations, Loan Closing, Loan Documentation, Loan booking, or Loan Processing.
Strong knowledge of commercial lending documentation and loan booking processes.
Experience reviewing commercial loan packages for completeness and compliance.
Familiarity with CRE and C&I lending products.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in loan documentation and system data.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with commercial loan booking systems.
Previous quality assurance, testing, or process improvement experience is a plus.
