Job Description: PRN Aide Rehab Parma Inpatient Physical Therapy (260008WR) PRN Aide Rehab Parma Inpatient Physical Therapy - ( 260008WR ) Assists Rehab Staff with patient transport, care activities, set-up, clean-up and clerical duties to facilitate the rehabilitation of people with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities Assist physical therapist/occupational therapist directly with patient care Departmental support and maintenance Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. The patient population in inpatient adults. This PRN position will cover for UH employees who are on PTO, LOA, and staffing shortages in the department, weekends and holidays. High School Equivalent / GED required. Previous experience as nursing assistant or related area in a health care facility preferred. Able to understand all verbal and written communication instructions; able to record specific simple data required proficiency. Good time management and interpersonal skills required proficiency. Physically, cognitively and perceptually able to provide patient treatment and able to assist in physical mobility of patients and equipment required proficiency.
