Interventional Radiology Tech Opportunity Seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech with previous experience in IR/Cath lab procedures and moderate sedation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity hospital environment performing advanced imaging and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:
Perform scrub and circulate duties for a variety of interventional radiology procedures including neurointerventional, vascular, and diagnostic imaging.
Assist in preparing and maintaining interventional equipment such as GE single-plane and Philips biplane systems, as well as invasive CT scanners.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by adhering to sedation and infection control protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork to support unit staffing needs during shifts and on-call hours.
Maintain accurate documentation within Cerner (Radnet) EMR system per hospital guidelines.
Qualifications:- Minimum 2 years of previous interventional radiology experience, including scrub and circulate roles.
- Proven neurointerventional and vascular procedure experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Strong understanding of interventional radiology equipment, protocols, and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Vascular OR and Cath Lab experience beneficial.
