Are you an experienced window treatment technician who enjoys working with your hands, solving mechanical problems, and delivering exceptional customer service? Bloomin' Blinds is seeking a skilled, dependable Window Treatment Repair & Installation Specialist to join our growing team. We're looking for someone with direct, hands-on experience repairing and installing blinds, shades, shutters, and other custom window treatments. What You'll Do Window Treatment Repairs & Troubleshooting Diagnose and repair problems with residential blinds, shades, shutters, and other window coverings. Repair or replace damaged components, including lift cords, tilt mechanisms, wand controls, brackets, headrails, and operating systems. Troubleshoot malfunctioning cordless, continuous-loop, and motorized window treatments. Repair and adjust plantation shutters, including louvers, tilt rods, hinges, and mounting hardware. Identify replacement parts and determine whether products can be repaired or require replacement. Explain repair recommendations and available solutions to homeowners. Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Window Treatment Installation:
Professionally install custom blinds, shades, shutters, and other window treatments.
Take accurate window measurements and verify product specifications.
Install inside-mount and outside-mount window coverings.
Properly secure brackets, mounting hardware, headrails, and operating mechanisms.
Install and configure motorized and automated window treatments when applicable.
Adjust and test installed products to ensure proper operation, alignment, and appearance.
Troubleshoot installation challenges involving unusual window shapes, mounting surfaces, and architectural features.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and protect customers' homes during service visits.
Customer Service & Field Operations:
Travel to scheduled residential service appointments throughout the assigned territory.
Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain repair or installation procedures.
Document completed work, required parts, and customer service information.
Maintain tools, equipment, and service materials.
Coordinate with office staff and design consultants to ensure efficient scheduling and job completion.
Identify additional repair or replacement opportunities when appropriate.
Represent the Bloomin' Blinds brand with professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications:
Required Experience & SkillsDirect, hands-on professional experience with blinds, shades, shutters, or other window treatments.
Demonstrated ability to install, repair, adjust, or troubleshoot window covering products.
Familiarity with window treatment operating mechanisms, mounting systems, and hardware.
Ability to accurately measure windows and use common installation tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to safely use drills, hand tools, ladders, and other installation equipment.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel throughout South Charlotte and surrounding communities.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of installation work, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Experience:- Previous employment with a blinds, shades, shutters, or window treatment company.
- Experience repairing lift systems, tilt mechanisms, cords, and shutter components.
- Experience installing plantation shutters and custom window coverings.
- Familiarity with motorized blinds, shades, and automated operating systems.
- Experience with major window treatment manufacturers and replacement parts.
- Ability to independently diagnose mechanical problems and complete repairs during service appointments.
- Direct window treatment experience is important for this position. While additional training will be provided on our products and procedures, we're looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of window treatment repair and installation.

Service Territory
This position serves homeowners throughout South Charlotte and surrounding communities, including:
Waxhaw, Weddington, Marvin, Wesley Chapel, Indian Trail, Monroe, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Rock Hill, York, Clover, and nearby areas.
Regular travel to residential customer appointments is required.
