This is a high-visibility opportunity focused on equity accounting, stock-based compensation, EPS and SEC reporting, with significant exposure to complex accounting matters and cross-functional projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical accounting and complex transactions and wants to work on high-impact initiatives within a large, growing organization.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations related to equity transactions
- Calculate quarterly stock-based compensation expense, EPS and income attributable to noncontrolling interests
- Support financial statement footnotes and assigned areas of SEC filings
- Research complex accounting matters and prepare accounting memos
- Analyze transactions involving significant accounting judgments and estimates
- Support internal controls over financial reporting and process improvement initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally on new business initiatives, system integrations and other major changes impacting financial reporting
- Collaborate with Corporate Accounting and Consolidations/Reporting teams on technical accounting matters
- Support tax, audit and other ad hoc reporting requests
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field 2+ years of corporate or manufacturing accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAPAdvanced Excel skills, including functions such as Power Query, Power Pivot, INDEX/MATCH and pivot tables
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Experience with technical accounting or external reporting is a plusExperience with SEC reporting or public accounting experience with public-company clients is a plusExperience with stock-based compensation, equity accounting or EPS is a plusExperience with SOX 404 controls is a plusCPA or Master's degree in Accounting is strongly preferred
